Strategic partnership pairs premium hospitality experience with carbon-negative structural engineered bamboo technology, manufactured in the United States.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Rangeway, America's first hospitality-driven premium EV charging network, today announced a strategic partnership with ReNüTeq, the industry leader in Structural Engineered Bamboo (SEB) technology. ReNüTeq will design and construct Rangeway's signature Driver's Lounges and solar-powered charging canopies, creating a distinctive architectural identity for the network's premium charging destinations.

The partnership unites Rangeway's hospitality-first philosophy with ReNüTeq's two decades of innovation in sustainable structural design. ReNüTeq founder Luke Schuette has delivered EV charging infrastructure for automotive leaders including BMW, and led the ASTM task group that established SEB testing standards and added the material to the International Building Code in 2012.
"We think like hotel operators, not utility companies," said Zak Winnick, Founder and CEO of Rangeway. "That philosophy extends to how we build. Every Rangeway location will be a destination worth remembering, not just another parking lot with plugs. ReNüTeq shares that commitment to craftsmanship and quality."
ReNuTeq's patented SEB technology transforms Guadua bamboo, sourced sustainably from Colombia, into architectural-grade structural materials that exceed the strength of traditional engineered wood products. The material is carbon-negative, LEED-qualified, and certified under the International Building Code. ReNüTeq's prefabricated, fully kitted approach enables rapid deployment without compromising design quality.
"We have been working towards this type of ideal application of our materials for several years, since our work with BMW, Electrify America, and similar. Finally, Zak and his team have meticulously constructed the perfect business model and EV Driver's Lounge brand optimized for the USA traveler. We are honored that our SEB (Structural Engineered Bamboo) technology has been chosen to add innovation, performance, aesthetics and sustainability to the Rangeway brand". Quote: Luke D. Schuette, CEO of ReNüTeq.

Under the partnership, ReNüTeq will provide:
Custom-designed solar canopy structures featuring Structural Engineered Bamboo and integrated solar systems
Architectural design and construction of Rangeway's climate-controlled Driver's Lounges
Prefabricated building solutions enabling accelerated deployment across the network
Ongoing design collaboration as Rangeway expands to new regions
Rangeway's network features two destination formats: Basecamps, which offer staffed cafés and full-service amenities, and Waystations, which provide the same indoor comfort guarantee through automated retail. Both formats will showcase ReNüTeq's distinctive bamboo-and-steel hybrid architecture, creating a consistent, recognizable design language across the network.
The partnership reflects both companies' commitment to sustainability without compromising on premium quality. ReNüTeq's materials carry carbon-negative credentials, while Rangeway's integration of solar canopies and battery storage reduces grid dependency and supports clean energy goals.
