ReNüTeq has been awarded a regional showcase project by the City of Crestwood.
October of 2026: Projected Completion
Contractor: Lawlor Construction
Architect: Bond Architects
Structural Engineer: Larson Engineering
It is official: The Groundbreaking ceremony was no less than momentous as Mayor Scott Shipley delivered an inspiring speech about the project as other community leaders joined.

"We selected Structural Engineered Bamboo for the new Crestwood Community Center because it offered the right balance of durability, aesthetics, and long-term value. The beams provide the warmth and beauty of natural wood while delivering the strength and longevity we expect from a structural material. While the cost was comparable to steel, the SEB option allowed us to avoid the added complexity and maintenance of faux wood wraps — making it the right choice."
~Quote: Mayor Scott Shipley
The new community center is designed to be a transformative project taking cues from the surrounding site to inspire the architecture, which features a SEB (Structural Engineered Bamboo) primary roof structure, central connector, and entry canopies.

"ReNüTeq is very pleased to be working with Sam Aufmuth of Lawlor Construction, Rebecca Kleba and Lisa Griffin of Bond Architects, and Matt Kruger of Larson Engineering to execute this amazing showcase project for the City of Crestwood. The clean and functional design and the integration of our SEB (Structural Engineered Bamboo) material technology represents a showcase of Innovation and Sustainable Architecture here in Missouri", We are also honored to work with the City of Crestwood and Mayor Scott Shipley whose community leadership is inspiring. It is clear that he maintains an exemplary role for his colleagues and city officials through his faith and deep roots in the community he serves. ~ Quote: Luke D. Schuette, CEO & President of ReNüTeq.
